How Avorque collects, uses and protects personal data.

Last updated: 19 September 2026

Who we are

Avorque BV, Street and number, 0000 City, Belgium (company number BE 0000.000.000) is the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at info@avorque.com or +32 (0)0 000 00 00.

What data we collect

We collect only what we need in order to do our work:

  • Contact data — name, company, email address and telephone number you provide through our forms or by contacting us directly.
  • Candidate data — the details in your application: work history, qualifications, certifications, availability, the region you can work in and anything you choose to include in your CV or message.
  • Client data — the contact details and requirements of the organisations we work with.
  • Technical data — the information your browser sends when you visit this website, such as IP address, browser type and the pages you view.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To answer enquiries and provide the services you asked about — on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in running our business.
  • To assess candidates for suitable assignments and to present them to clients — on the basis of your consent and, once an assignment is agreed, the contract between us.
  • To meet legal obligations, including employment, tax, social security and safety-related record keeping.
  • To maintain and secure this website.

Who we share it with

Candidate details are shared with a prospective client only where this is relevant to a concrete opportunity. We also use service providers — for example IT hosting, email and payroll administration — who process data on our instructions and are bound to confidentiality. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Candidate files are retained for the period necessary to consider you for suitable work, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Data we are legally required to keep — such as payroll and contractual records — is retained for the statutory period.

Where your data is processed

Personal data is processed within the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we ensure an appropriate transfer mechanism is in place.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already took place. Write to info@avorque.com and we will respond within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to those who need it to do their job.

Changes

We may update this policy as our activities or the applicable rules change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
